Read on to find out some great stocking stuffer ideas for kids!
While I certainly enjoy sweets, I’m more of a salty snack kinda gal. My kids on the other hand? They are sugar fiends. They are constantly asking for more treats.
But you know what I’ve never done? Put candy in their Christmas stockings.
Shocking, I know.
Now, they certainly aren’t deprived. We do all the holiday parties and special desserts and whatnot. Plus, come December, they still have tons of Halloween candy left, for goodness sake! More candy is pretty much the last thing they need.
So if you’re wanting some ideas to stuff your kids’ stockings with non-candy items this year, you’ve come to the right place!
Here’s my list of kid-approved stocking stuffers!
- stickers (an obvious one, but always a favorite)
- LEGO minifigures
- fun erasers
- small notebooks
- fun pencils (we got these ones for our kids last year and they were a hit!)
- flavored applesauce cups (this won’t work for everyone, but my kids just get plain applesauce the rest of the year, so they are always super excited to get some berry applesauce, haha)
- small figurines of whatever they’re currently in to (dinosaurs, superheroes, ballerinas, animals, characters from a favorite show, etc…)
- play dough (check out my Gingerbread Play Dough recipe here)
- fun socks
- card games
